Music is my passion and writing is how I express that passion. More a musician who writes rather than a traditional journalist, all my most profound connections to music — the ethereal and sacred artform that binds the universe together — stem from the live space.

From sitting in silence watching the LA Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl to shredding the dancefloor at the most obscure underground rave, the visceral feeling music creates for me is what drives me forward. Engaging in the artform through writing expands that feeling by further understanding the intentions and the history behind it, and I hope reading my stories provides the same for you.

Over the past ten years, I have racked up bylines in publications like Billboard, Grammy.com, Beatportal, SPIN, MusicTech, SF Weekly, and Miami New Times, interviewing hundreds of artists like RÜFÜS DU SOL, boygenius, and Johnny Marr, and covering some of the largest music festivals in the world including Coachella and EDC Las Vegas.

I have also developed expertise in the music and technology space. In the modern age, technology connects people to music in new and exciting ways. Whether that be through music production, streaming, AI, or education, I deeply understand the union between these two endless disciplines.

Outside of journalism and music, I enjoy riding my bike, playing Tears of the Kingdom for hours on end, and writing my teleplay for a limited series, the first draft of which I swear to god will be done by the end of 2024.

I’d love to work with you!
